Terms of service.

These terms govern your use of the Signal14 website, the free Decision Framing Check, and our paid concierge pilot. By using the site or engaging us, you agree to them. They are written in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, ask us before relying on it.

Who we are

Signal14 is operated from Brisbane, Australia by Pat Dusabe, trading as Signal14 (ABN 42 434 334 428). You can reach us at beaconvisible@gmail.com.

What Signal14 provides

• this website and its content, including sample briefs and other example material;
• the free Decision Framing Check — a short assessment that scores how ready a brief is to test. It is not market research and does not predict whether an idea will succeed;
• the First Client Decision concierge pilot — a paid, source-audited decision brief with counter-evidence, reversal conditions, a 14-day proof-sprint design, and a decision review call, delivered under a written scope and our Fulfilment policy.

Decision support, not a guarantee

Our outputs exist to support your judgment. Scores, postures (TEST, PIVOT, HOLD), evidence ledgers, and test designs are inputs to a decision that remains yours — and, where you advise clients, your clients’. Simulated or synthetic customer perspectives are hypotheses and are never presented as interviews. Nothing on this site is financial, legal, or investment advice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the site or services for unlawful purposes;
• present Signal14 outputs as a guarantee, endorsement, or independent audit of commercial success;
• submit personal information you have no right to share;
• scrape, bulk-copy, resell, or reverse engineer the site, the framing check, or our templates;
• interfere with the operation or security of the service.

Intellectual property

Yours. Your client data, inputs, evidence, and business information remain yours. You grant us a licence to use them only to deliver the service to you.

Ours. The Signal14 method, scoring logic, templates, brief structures, site content, and branding remain ours. You may use delivered briefs freely within your business and with your clients, but you may not resell the method or templates as a competing service.

Payment

This website has no checkout and takes no payment. Paid engagements are agreed in writing and invoiced in Australian dollars; any applicable GST will be stated on the invoice.

Your responsibilities

The quality of a brief depends on its inputs. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and evidence you supply, for how you use our outputs, and for the advice you give your own clients.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a consumer guarantee applies and our services fail to comply with it, our liability is limited, where the law permits, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including loss of profit, revenue, or opportunity — or for the commercial outcome of any decision made using our outputs, and our total aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept it. For paid engagements, material changes will be notified by email and will not apply retrospectively to work already agreed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
